The Laughing Crow Organics Mission

Laughing Crow Organics is dedicated to natural, sustainable methods of growing plants, whether for food, beauty, or wildlife habitat. Our focus is on healthy soil, which supports vibrant vegetation. We understand the importance of the soil foodweb, and provide products that enrich the microscopic organisms that make a soil biologically fertile. We also envision a sustainable future for humans, which is only possible if resource-hungry, environmentally damaging products such as chemical fertilizers and pesticides are phased out…in favor of naturally produced materials that are safe and smart.

Laughing Crow’s products include potting soils, earthworm castings, and various liquid extracts of materials such as beach-raked seaweed and citrus waste. Many of our production processes are supplied by wastes, and we are proud to be diverting materials from landfills and putting them back into commerce. As Laughing Crow grows into a national company, we will never forget that we began in 2001 as “worm farmers,” raising redwiggler earthworms to sell and to produce castings for sale as well.

Today, we are a growing company with many products and services, and we have spread our wings thanks to valuable alliances with national leaders such as Seeds of Change, Smart World Organics, and Advanced Marine Technologies.
